American Psycho - Bret Easton Ellis What a fun book to borrow from my school library. Not. For my American History class, I decided to choose a controversial book to review, and this was a candidate. Though I chose something else, I decided to read this anyway.

This is a difficult book for me to review. I have to admit that it was brilliantly written... it has jumped to the top of the list of the most disturbingly descriptive books I have ever read. On the other hand... I didn't really enjoy it. I don't regret reading it, though. Patrick's mind is an interesting place to get a glimpse of, and in a way, it captures many aspects and flaws of society (though hopefully not to that extent...).

Helpful hint: Don't read this while eating.
